Learn to Draw in Charcoals - Monday nights in Avening

This structured course is designed to build a strong foundation in drawing skills. Students will learn to observe accurately, measure using sight-size techniques, and develop confident control of tone and value.

Over six weeks we will cover:

• Still life drawing from life
• Landscape drawing from reference
• Portrait drawing with strong light and shadow
• Sight-size measuring techniques
• Understanding tonal values
• Using charcoal, white charcoal and blending tools

This course is suitable for complete beginners and those wishing to strengthen their drawing fundamentals.
